$67 may not be the lowest price I've seen for a Fantom mod motor, but for an off-the-shelf motor at a hobby shop it's not bad at all, & Fantom's motors are some of the best you can buy, period. Now, before you ask about Reedy, Trinity, etc., keep in mind that companies like Fantom actually use Epic & Yokomo parts(as in Trinity & Reedy parts) to build their motors, so in design they're exactly the same as an equivalent Reedy or Trinity motor. However, Fantom puts in a lot of quality time in winding the armatures, & testing & tuning them so they're as good as they can make them(it's their attention to detail that makes them great), & they show it in the hands of the facotry sponsored drivers, you won't go wrong by buying one(& I also have met Troy Schroeder, Fantom's owner, he's a good guy, really smart)...:)

Definately try one of these out. I too know Troy very well. He knows his stuff and proves it in there products. All my motors are Fantoms and when I race mod at my LHS I can use a turn higher than almost everyone else cause it is so fast. Give their Limited Edition Stock motors a try too.
