What are you racing? I have been looking for people around Central Jersey with 1/8 off-road Nitro Buggies. There are a lot of them in Enfield CT at RC Madness, but that is a little too far to drive!!!

I am racing an electric ST (but there's no local track--theres not even room to make one--so we've just been doin infrequent, informal street races, and with off-road cars, this is a dissapointment because we dont get to show off our full capabilities besides top speed), but i have a friend that may b getting a 1/8th .21 buggy soon. ill let u know if he does...

Well, I am not sure how far away you are in Oceanport. There is a track in Englishtown that you can race at, American Raceway. There is another in Jackson (though I haven't been there). I know of several in CT, but they are tooooo far to go to for us!

yea, they are. as for the ones u mentioned in englishtown and jackson, ill have to look into them. maybe i can get my dad to drive me and a friend or two to one of 'em one weekend. I have never formally raced (and neither have my friends), so i will likely get creamed, but it would b fun just to get started and get some experience.
rcmaniac my sister lives in ocean port and i visit her all the time. If you go down port a peck drive there is a park and an oval inline skate rink. you should try racing there and since its electric they wont give you any trouble.

Thanx CWB. I know about this park, just never have really thought about racing there. Good idea though, and thanx. If you dont mind me asking, who is your sister? I may know her, or if not her, one of her children.
Yeah her child is only 3 so i dont think you know her.

No, i dont know her or her husband. I am only 14, so I thought i may have known her children, if she had any, but no such luck.
