Savage in a kit form?

do you guys think HPI will release the savage 21 in a kit? i want to get the savage i would like to see it in a kit but i guess if they dont i will get the RTR :) what are your thoughts on teh savages design?how fast will you think it will go? thanks

Seeing as it's harder to find a kit of ANY nitro truck that isn't a racer now, it's higly unlikely that they will package up a second version of the Savage as a kit. I bet it would almost cost more to package them in kit form that it would to pay people to build them. Plus it's one more thing retailers have to stock, etc.

i don't know. if you look at thier track record a lot of thier cars have come in kit and rtr forms. i certainly do hope they come out with a kit. my rtr nmt on the other hand i had to take halfway apart to loctite screws and fix a couple things right out of the box. so it was kind of a kit. maybe the savage will be the same way.

Not gonna happen. The Rush isn't a kit yet. The NMT is only a kit because it was out before RTRs were really popular. No other nitro monster in that class is a kit and an RTR.

It's just not worth the time, effort, and cost to set up a separate packing line for kit Savages alongside the RTR ones.
