Do they even make a body for it? That would be sweet if someone could put like a rotary wankel in a touring car and stick an RX7 body on top of it.....

Yokomo makes an RX-7 for 190 and 200mm cars, HPI makes them for micros. I think OS actually made a Wankel engine but it was for planes and too big to fit in cars but I agree, it would be cool to have them for r/c cars.

Do all micros mount the antenna like that? I like!

the micro's in the last two shots are not mine. The bodies I painted for the guy that owns the two cars. The first is my car and body. All the colors are custom blends or Dupont automotive color change paints.
Unbelievably beautiful bodies! Really nice work!

Micro's are 1/18th scale. As for prices, they are about $100 US for the kit. You still need radio equipment and a speed control. If you havn't already, check out HPI's site.

They are a blast to drive. They are small enough for indoor's but large enough for outdoor's as well. Stock they go about 10-12MPH but if you put in a 6cell pack and a big block motor they go close to 25-30. They handle very similar to a 1/10th touring car.

Thanks for the compliments. The skyline and silvia are my take (a tribute in a way) to the Signal auto cars. If you want I have more pics of both.

me? It is a mix of peal copper, flourescent orange, pearl charcoal, and a little gold. It looks a little lighter in the pics than it really is, but it is close to the actual color.
