I have a t-maxx with the 24.7 engine, and it almost never does wheelies on asphalt because it burns out. It has the stock tires. It does wheelies easily on grass, but just doesnt do it on asphalt. Does this have to do with bad traction? If so, would Proline Maxx Masher tires solve this? Sorry for the stupid question lol but im stumped.

if the rear tires have foams take them out that can help.

would that really help? cuz ive always heard that slightly harder foam is better, but maybe not in this situation. Ill try it.

thats probably it. My rush does the same thing. Try doing it with some street tires and with a slipper.

The key is that the bar tread tires on your Maxx don't have much contact patch, (the area the tire contacts the ground), thus reducing traction. Pro-Line's Road Rage tires for the Maxx would provide a much larger contact area, allowing more power to be put to the ground (on asphalt anyway), and allow much better traction. Hope this helps!
