Is there an open off-road nitro track open year round. I just want to try my hands at it an new to this hobby and live in Dallas I know we have had bad weather lately so it would have to be indoors.

There are two indoor, off road tracks in the area. Indy RC World (http://www.indyrcworld.net) in Garland runs both nitro and electric. Mike's Hobby Shop (http://www.mikeshobbyshop.com) in Carrollton runs only electric. Both are open during the week for practice, and both hold races on Saturday.
