Yea they are fun. I am an RC CAR guy to and i got one for play. I am going to get like a 50 inch with Dual .90 CMB's or something.

Looks like both of you are now running R/C trucks. The experience will come in later when you make the switch to boats. I ran trucks and cars on road and off for years before I got my first boat. The boats are lower maintenance and I don't greak the parts like I did with the 4-wheelers. I don't have to have the "Hot set-up of the week" either to be competitive, buy a good boat from the start and it will last you a long time.
