I have been looking at 2 different cars since i have a 20% discount at the store, these are the Stadium Blitzer by Tamiya and the Funfactor ST by CEN.
I am planning to race and have a limit of $300 so if u could tell me if these cars are any good and i know they not the best but if they upgradable thats good for me.

If your budge is only $300. Then go for CEN and save $10 or so. I dont think u can get the Tamiya for under $300. Fun Fator ST 4WD is read to run and have a standard 2.6 Engine w/ factory installed 2 speed tranny. It will out ran anything in straight line. Parts might be hard to find but you can just go to the CEN dealer you buy from or just go to www.ehobbies.com They carry full CEN parts line.
By the way, which store is it. 20% discount is a lot. Do they have online store? I might be interested in buying something. I need some receiver and servos. Will i get discount too?

If you are really planning on racing, then you might want to consider some other trucks since neither one of these is ideally suited for racing. You might want to consider one of the standium trucks by Associated or Losi.

WOW, they are still selling Stadium Blitzers? My first "real" RC was a Blitzer, over 12 years ago!!
Agreed w. Myst, for your investment a racing-level truck will excel over the options you mentioned, it will be more tuneable, durable, and allow you to race competitively. Also the parts for an AE or Losi are easier to get when you break somethng.
Of course no one plans on breaking anything, but like it or not it does happen. :)
