Do I need a 27 mhz radio for my rc car that I'll be getting soon. I'll be buying a nitro car soon I own 2 75mhz AM radios for my 2 current rc cars. THe car I'm getting has hard to find parts. I don't want to risk crashing the car badly because that'll take money away from me modding my 1991 crx si. Do you need a 27mhz for a .21 nitro truck? THe radio I was thinking about if I need a 27mhz radio is a 27mhz FM radio: MX-3 by airtronics:). I'll get the car within 1.5 months help?

FM will lessen the chance to "Loose" control due to the receiver but either 75Mhz or 27Mhz FM should work. Just if you get a 75Mhz FM radio just make sure isn’t on one of your current AM radio channels if you plan to drive them simultaneously.

27mhz is a standard frequency that is in use by almost all wireless devices. To lessen the risk,I would suggest 75mhz,simply because there are less devices and people on that frequency.Good luck, and remember, GO AMERICAN MUSCLE!!!
