I am new to this forum, however I have been in RC Boats for about 40 Years. I build large 36-45" models with 35-40 pound displacement hulls. Mostly seagoing tugs. I use 12V dual Pittman motors most of the time in tandom. Wired for 24 Volts. I live in Mesa, AZ and would be interested in meeting anyone else that shares this same interest.

Charlie,
I’m in Phoenix! There is a group of us that get together, chat and bounce back ideas, in addition to trying to hit the pond once a month or so. There is a semi-active club in Litchfield Park as well. I also think there is one in Mesa too. I’m working on a rescue boat right now, along with two Fletcher class destroyers about 48 inches long. E-mail me for more info, also try posting on this board, it’s pretty active for the scale folks (and where I met other AZ people): http://members.boardhost.com/wmunderway/
