hello!! i'm ordering a Tamiya TB-Evolution 1 soon and i'm gonna order an LRP Quantum Reverse wih it. I was wondering if the LRP option power cap set would make any differance to the performance of the Esc!
Please post with your views and if you have purchased a power cap set, was it good? is it worth it? and was there a change in perforance?
Thx.

I have a power cap on my GT7 and it helps keep it cool mostly. Never gets hot.

does anyone know the actual function of running a capacitor on a speed control? i'm looking for some hard numbers here if possible or anyone with experience with the pro's and con's of what it will do to the performance of an esc that wasn't designed to use one. thanks,
adam

It gets rid of voltage spikes and helps everything work better.

The purpose of power caps and schotty diodes was to absorb voltage spikes and help the motor run cooler. Most are not used on reverse ESC their polarity is one way.
I don't use it on my LRP v7.
