FBF is a no no - dont let that page fool you, as you must know it is a ZOO there on the weekends - QURC is the place to be...

True. I do have my LHS to hang with but sometimes only few show up. I dont know if anyone will be racin in this cold, but Id like to go down to queens united sometime. Its a trip but atleast the #7 train runs better than the green line bus I have to wait for just to go to FBF. :)

BTW, it may be hard to get mom to let me go with strangers though. She still gets bad thoughts about meeting people on the net. Either way, as long as I can get to the track though. LOL :)

I understand ! Tell her when I meet you she can have our reach numbers if she is concerned. We have a number of "junior" members. We make sure the enviornment is safe as possible.

hummmm, this may seem a little far-feched but do u have any connectivut memebers that go to NY to race. If so mabe i could arrange to get a ride with them because 2 hour drive to race my RC isn't something i could always be doing.

Challenger, where in CT ? we are about one hour (traffic free) from so CT. I used to live in Harrison, NY so I know the route quite well. We are very convenient from the Whitestone Bridge as well. What kind of vehicles do you have ?

Ah well. I wont be able to go to FMP as its TOO far and in an area Im not familiar with :( . I havent taken the #7 train since I was like 11 or 12. LOL! So its just FBF for now. Regardless of how crowded it gets, a lot of the LHS teams get together and race as well as few local bashers..which explains the crowd. I could careless anyway. Time to save up for a hitec lynx 3d spectrum or m8. Buying lots of xstalls wont work anymore. Either way floyd is closer to home and I can still get up there even if the greenline bus isnt running. Hey nitrofun, didnt know you were up in mamaroneck,ny. Ive been to portchester,ny and may moveup there. There are some LHS in harrison,ny and mt vernon,ny but Im not sure of tracks.

Yeah my primary Hobby Shop is Tonys Hobby Shop in Harrison, good guys and a good place, excellent prices, they beat tower on most everything they sell...and he has a lot of stuff in stock. If you move here def. go there it well worth it...we need a track around here though, there is NOTHING besides indoor carpet at bruckner hobbies...but thats BS...that not even a track.

Yeah its in a gym and the track is rather small. Id prefer a larger track. Hey maybe you can ask the guys at that LHS if they can get a group of people to race after the store hrs. Try to find a parking lot or park where you all can race. Thats just an idea. :)

True...let me know if you move into westchester, maybe we can get some racers together and build a decent mobil track...it'd be better than just sitting around doing nothing all day...:D

Cool. I hope we do get that apt. Gotta pray to god too. :) Sure it would be great to get a gang of racers together. BTW the place in portchester,ny is about a block away from the shopping area with Kohls department store, Pathmark, etc. Mean time Ill continue to bash and enjoy racing at my local track FBF.

Is the apt. up a hill? right near the dunkin donuts, coconuts music and across from the mcdonalds? I am in portchester a lot...hehe..that shopping center parking lot would be good too...but it is always busy..

Yes, they are new apt complexes. I hope we will be able to get a 2br place in one of them. :( I remember passing some places after you take the road to go into CT where we can also race. There is a basketball court and some other parking lots.

BTW called my LHS for updates and the guys dont prefer to race there anymore(FBF). Its not really even a track but just a bunch of guys goin there to bash and stuff. So when I move, I hope I get a car to go to a REAL track where I can race and probably earn trophies and stuff. Ill keep racing with my Neo TNT and just have my LHS order the parts for me. :)
