Ok. I'm trying to find out what everyone uses to paint their nitro boats. I've been experimenting for awhile on the different hulls I've built over the years to get the best finish and fuel resistance and so on. Problem is, I don't know anyone in my area that builds nitro boats that I can trade info with. I'm hoping somebody can recommend a brand of paint that is good for a nice gloss, goes on thru a spray gun, and has a nice range of colors (mettalics, etc.)
I'm planning of going for some complex graphics on the hull I'm building now.

And if anyone wonders. I'm working on a Hawk 7.5 rigger with a CMB .45 CAM. Gonna scare the hell out of the people at the pond next spring ;)

I rebuild my boat and I use a spray can and it turned out great. If you want to see pics go to my web site. If you want the name e-mail me and send you the name.

The best paint is Deltron PPG. Has every color in the world. The clear coat is nitro proof, hard and lasts forever.

House Of Kolor Rocks!! This is the best stuff going and is user friendly. You can buy it direct or through shops like Coast Airbrush in CA, They even sell small quantities.
