anyone had experience w/ these inboards, .21 and .45 specifically...
are they reliable?...do they perform well?

and what about novarossi and cmb?
i know these are top notch racing engines (i have experience w/ cars)...but are they reliable marine engines?

and if anyone knows where to find the absolute best deals on all these engines, and pipes and headers, please let me know

thanks

The Nova Rossi is a very good engine, with me formerly owning one. The CMB's have been having carb problems but are fast if you get them straightened out. I now have a Rossi Niagara that I love, faster with every tankful of fuel. the MAC motor is one of the hottest on the pond now also.
As for the 7.5's, I have an OPS sitting in my basement that hasn't been fired yet so I can't give you an opinion on it. I am currently running a Russian Kalistratov (K) 45. MAC's and Piccos seem to be the ones that the racers like.
The best prices for anything for my boats is from Gary Preusse who has a home based Hobby Shop. Call him at 630-279-2451. He is not on line. Just don't tell anybody about him though.

If you buy the OPS plan on investing in a new carb. their carbs are junk. But for playing at the pond they're ok motors.
