look at hobby-lobby.com, they have Corsair and F-16 electric jets, and the planes use speed 280 sized motors, or brushless motors that size. There are videos of the planes in flight too.

I hate to say this, but Hobby Lobby's Jet's are a pain in the butt.. Looks good in video though, but that all it's good for..

No offence intended CAFplanekid.

GWS fans are good:) but I wish GWS's next project will be a jet, next time around;)

You want good Jet's right?

I've seen the Watt-age F-22's maiden flight just the other day (t'was mine.:p ) it flew right out the box, it flew good, but needs a little more power, it wasn't under, it was in bet. not slow, and not fast either.

I think the fuselage needs a little more sanding, than the stock framed fused that it comes with, because w/n it comes to jet's, specially meant for parkflying the bulkness of the fuse has to be sanded down to where a possible drag is eliminated towards the prop. w/c gives it the proper push.

I hope that helps, and good luck. I hope you find your dream Jet, and write about it here someday:)

yours,

Anyone ever thought about modding the F-22 with a new fan? or maybe a speed 480?

Foam + 480 = Weight penalty. You can get away with by upgrading your motor, but you have to increase your battery capacity, and have a good right arm.

Hope that helps:)

Darenm,

Ohhhh!! Yes:cool: The projeti, a friend of mine has one. Yes!!!! it's faster than the Zagi w/ Mega 4T 5x5 prop. The fuse is sanded down all the way to the fuse to eliminate the drag once the air get's to the prop.

I have one, just haven't flow it yet! Too busy building Warbirds.

I just flew my Python.. Super Fast 105 mph w/ Mega 3T.:)

I will probably fly it if the weather change. The Projeti can take serious wind conditions. It really rocks the sky..

It can make a Jet look stupid:D (jk) I have an old Hobby Lobby F-16 that it can haul 85 mph:( the Projeti on the other hand can go beyond that speed w/ a BL motor.

I would recomend the Projeti, nice plane:)

You can check out Bob Parkinsons jets at www.rcjets.com Bob is a friend of mine. I've been flyng his Regal Eagle for years & come to think about it I have a F-18 of his in the basement too, anyway, Bob has an electric twin Royal Eagle F-15 that is a smaller version of the Regal Eagle DF model. I don't know the speed of it, but understand it's fast enough for most flyers. Email Bob & ask him Q's about it. Tell him Bill SR-71 Project from Michigan sent you. I'm sure he will be happy to answer all your questions. Cost of the jet is $229.00 USD.
