I am new to nitro boats, and i was wondering what size engine i should put in a 28 inch fiberglass mono hull, i was thinking a CMB .21 LS, but maybe something bigger. Also What companies do you reccomend for hardware, mainly surface drives.
Also Can someone explain the class specinfications for racing, for example the differences between A-MONO, B-MONO, and C-MONO.
Thanks for your help.

For a 28" hull, a .21 is the most that you'd want to drop in there. CMB's are OK, but have a carb problem. Rossi, Nova Rossi, MAC and Picco are good choices also. My recommendation is Speedmaster hardware and Seaducer hardware a close second.
The A, B and C are different in IMPBA and NAMBA. In IMPBA, an "A" is the .12-sized engines, "B" are the .21's and "C" isn't used much any more so they go to "D" which is the .45's. In NAMBA, "A" is the .21's, "B" the 7.5's and "C" would be the .60 sized if I'm correct.

Thanks, the speedmaster hardware was exactly what i was looking for. Also thanks for clarifying the class specs.
