need help on setting up the sails for the northwind 36. I read Jim
Onorato review but still do not understand. I guess I've been a way from the sport to long.

The instructions are too basic for sure, so here's a few things I did on mine: You have to fold the jib sail sail's front edge and tack it down with the double-sided tape in the kit, then add short lengths of the antenna tube-like hollow rod to your folded edge. Don't stretch the sail when adding the tape, it'll cause puckers once the fold is in place. To control both sails you'll need to run the lines on top of the deck, so cut them far longer than the manual's called-for lengths to insure they are long enough. On the main sail's front edge you'll have to clip the plastic mast pieces to the fabric, then add a drop of CA glue to hold them. To punch the holes at the corners of the sails use a multi-hole punch tool you can find in most crafts stores, then tie-on the cords to your holes and add a drop to each knot to hold them tight. I know the sheet doesn't give you much detail, but if you turn it and double-check each step you can get the sails setup.
Hope this helps, send for more help if you need it!
