New to rc

I am new to the RC world.

I bought a TC3 r10 kit.
I have a IPC Digital 7.1 speed control
Trinity Speed Gems 2 (yellow)

I still need to buy batteries, trans and reciver, main gear, better tires, steering servo (I think that comes with the trans/receiver.

I do not know much about this stuff but I want to learn all that I can..

What would you guys recomend on doing for the stuff that I need and is the stuff I have any good??

What type of readin material can I get to more understand this hobby.

For batteries i would suggest the GP 3300 for www.promatchracing.com . the sanyo's have more voltage but also higher internal resistance (bad=less power)
for the others i would check www.towerhobbies.com and www.ehobbies.com. Always go to your LHS (local hobby shop) before buying anything from the web.
For tires we need to know where you are driving/what you are driving on.

I will mostly be driving on concreate and road. once I get used to the car I might start to check out races

but for now just parkinglots and concreat
