I have the radio and ESC in my electrics strapped in with velcro and one zip tie each.

Remove the ESC and radio, and being careful not to completely soak the motor or servo I hose that puppy down with a low-pressure blast, then blow it all out with compressed air. After that I use Q-tips to get all the water off the iron parts (nuts, bolts, CVD's) and oil as required.

With the GT's (nitro) I do the same, except I first plug up the carb hole, then spray down the oily areas with a solution of 1/10 ammonia, dash of dishwashing detergent and water. Hose it down, blow it out, and apply the Q-tips as above.

No I never get water in the engine. :D

It seems like a lot of work but it gives it a much more thorough cleaning and overall takes less time.

That guy kinda reminds me of... ME!

I soak the entire front end of my TC3 in a WHOLE can of WD-40. I'm lazy, it works. :D
