Hey guys,

I have a Novak XXL futaba receiver and a hitec eclipse with the synth module. I was trying to get it to work this morning while setting up my HPI micro. Couldn't get it to work. Then i noticed that it needs a single conversion crystal and I had put a dual in. Did some looking at Tower's site, and they're different descriptions got me wondering. Will this work at all with my Hitec radio? Do I need to get the Hitec version? Thanks

a futabe reciever should tecnicly work with any radio, as long as you have the same freq. crystals in them. Maybe your cristalls or the hardware itself is damaged.

You need single conversion crystals, although I wouldn't run single conversion anymore.

The Novak uses Single conversion crystals. Dual conversion xtals will not work.
I've never heard of a Hitec "Eclipse" B4. Is that a Steering Wheel radio or a Stick Radio?
If it's a Stick radio, most stick radios are on 72 mhz (Air) and Car Radios (in the USA) are normally on 27 and 75 mhz (Surface).
