could someone please tell me what is the shortest(total or i2i length) setting that tamiya suggests in the instruction booklet included with these..?
p.s..i want to run them in my mini cooper and ive got them at 55mm total length but i end up with maybe 3mm of travel....is this normal:(
thanks guys:)

I don't have those shocks on my mini (i've got the TA03 low friction ones), but my shock length is around 58mm total at the front and 60 total at the rear - and that only has a little bit of travel - the car will just about bottom out with the mini tyres.

are tao3 low friction shocks the same size as the cva mini shocks?
i know that tamiya includes a setup sheet with hop-up option shock that gives the proper shock length depending the car model...
thanks for the reply:)

I assume they are the same length - just do the "bottom out test" to see if you're getting sensible travel.
