I was wondering if anyone had clocked
a bone stock 2.5 T MAXX?
Thay say it dose 40 but it seems faster
than that to me.
Not that I think 40 (mph) is slow
I actualy think it's quite fast and
nothing to laugh at. It just seems that
their faster than that to me.
I could just be dreaming though:o
Thanks:D

I know someone who has a T-Maxx that last week was radar verified at 45mph but it was definetely running too lean

I have heard that if you put a 2.5 in the old t-maxx it will go faster than the new one. is this true?

I dont think thats true because its the same gearing in both the new and old t maxx`s.........I THINK:confused:

I would think that a 2.5 engine in a old Max would make it go faster because the old Maxx is a little lighter. It has a smaller Chassy and less overall metal, plastic and Less weight.
You could ane may goo like .2MPH faster in the old Maxx STOCK

I've informally (not on a perfectly flat, straight road) tested a 2.5 Maxx with a fairly fresh engine (they get faster after they're completely broken in) at roughly 41 mph, using my own REAL radar gun (the latest urban legends always start with "clocked it on police radar at...").

Sounds like the start of an urban legend... but the speed is pretty accurate. :D :D ;)
