Dodge nitro truck

Here is a new body for my nitro truck. I used black for the main color then purple for the lower accent line and wing lines, then i used bluepearl,red pearl and gold pearl for the flame and roll bar.
This one took 2 days of masking and preparing. I also tried out a new airbrush (Iwata) which seems to give better control. all in all I am pleased with it.

the airbrush is a iwata hp-b. I purchased it at dixie art for 119.00. they have a nice selection of airbrushes and supplys . I also use a aztec 490 but will use it for large coverage because it is harder to control coverage.
More paint projects planned for the winter months. I need a little practice with masking and fine spraying but time will tell.

that is a supreme paint. How mony hours did you put into it? i was looking for a prepainted dodge but never found a good one.

the truck was my first nitro vehicle that I purchased and yes it is an hpi rush . The body is an hpi body too . thanks for the complements guys . this truck sat for almost 18 months before i ran it this summer and damaged the body and stripped the rearend gears out . so i decided to upgrade the exaust and tires and body this fall. here are a few close ups.

Sweet body! i like the look of the dodge bodies when i get my new nitro truck i am gonna get the dodge body and paint it all black with chrome flames
