Help! I have a Badger model 150 airbrush, with siphon feed and internal mix, and it isn't spitting out much paint. I used it a couple of months ago, and got it real clean, but the only paint that comes out is an occasional spurts when I work the trigger back and forth. I also have never been able to get it to spray a fine line. if you have any suggestions I would really appresciate it. thanks

I too have a 150 model and I had the same problem. I changed nozzles and needles but it didnt help. I was using Parma's Fascolors and noticed it did it worse on certain colors. To fix it, i had to reduce the paint with distilled water and it cleared the problem up. Some of the colors are alot thicker than others and that was the problem. Make sure you have cleaned all of the paint from the needle and nozzle. im not sure which brand of paint you are using but all of them will clog if not flushed properly.

Also, thanks to all of the painters here. you have given me alot of ideas and made me pull my airbrush back out of the closet. I'm even to the point of buying a new one and all of you're advice on differnet brands have been helpful.

If your using fascolors you need to be spraying with 55-90 psi and you should add about a Tablespoon of water to each bottle. This should get you a smoother flow.

good luck!

Thanks! I am using Parma Fascolors, so it will help a lot! Thanks! The black was clogging my airbrush, but, the lime green parma paint didn't, so maybe the darker colors are thicker. Thanks!
