i plan on getting a viper body and putting black stripes from electrical tapedown the middle and painting the rest white with a black spoiler. Will it look good?

i think navy blue stipes would look better.. but its your car bro just spray it down its all part of the experimental/learning stage of body work

My question is: Are you going to leave the black electrical tape in place, or use it as a mask to paint black stripes? The way your post is worded, I can't tell...

I would not do it with electric tape if thats what you meen, Maby you should put in a few more dollers and do it the right way...:rolleyes:

Well, in that case, it'll probably look pretty good.
However, just to give your car a little excitement beyond (yawn) black and white, why not use pearl colors? Pearl white and pearl black or pearl charcoal? That would be about the same look, but less ho-hum.

Electrical tape is a good choice to use for striping. It's a good width and doesn't leak the way masking tape does.

I've seen white with dark blue, but I can't say I've ever really seen a white car with black stripes, unless you count police cruisers! ;)

I love electrical tape for masking! I use it for windows on bodies that don't come with masks! It sticks great, bends corners awesome and doesn't lift or leave a residue!
