yeah, well i found this board while searching the net. it looks pretty cool. i was wondering what kind of cars u guys have. i have a nikko ford diesel, the thing rips, it willl blow any of your cars off the road any day! a 9.6volt battery, 5 hour quick charger can't get any better than that! well it does about 40 mph. i was wonderin what kind of cars you guys have (they're probably not as good as mine though) mine was pretty expensive too, $125 at Radio Shack. Thats more than what most people spend on they're r/c car. NIKKO ALL THE WAY!!

Nikko's are good toy r/c's, but I think your in the wrong forum. This forum is for real R/C's none of that toy stuff that you could buy at Radio Shack, Wal-mart, Target, Kmart, etc.
Just do some more research on the real R/C's and I think you will be begging your parents to get you one for Christmas.

the nikko range of "toy cars" can never ever compete with a proper radio controlled car.even a tamiya fighter buggy rx with its 7.2 volt racing pack will more than blow away any of the nikko range,not to mention the fact that the radio range is poor on some of the "childrens r/c cars":confused:

Hey! Don't be dissing on Nikko! I just pulled my old Nikko Thor out of the basement and am making a budget rock crawler out of it! I don't want to lose hope only days into the whole project. Really all I am using from the thing is the axles, body and tires, but still. :D

well i really do have the best car.most people never seen one. i have a 3foot long drag racer that can hit speeds of 150mph to 175. we race them on 1/4 miles tracks. just incase yous didint know the fastest rc is about 215mph. trust me you dont want to get hit by somthing that fast no matter how big it is. this guy is a joke lol

We definately lack a lot of quick witted folks on this board, it took like ten posts before someone realized the guy had been here like 5 months. And after someone did, we still got more flame posts. I hope some of these guys are never jurors for an innocent mans murder trial.

If you're having a trial then the guy is obviously innocent. He doesn't become a guilty person till the judgement from the trial is passed down.

The fastest in the Guiness Book is 111MPH, by Cliff Lett in his RC10L3 running a $500+ BL system along with 24 cells.

what 112mph i am shore thats not a gas drager racer and i dont i mean nitro fuel. we made my drage racer outa some racing go-kart. and i dont mean some cheap 4hp go-kart.we also used the engine from one of these go-karts.if i get a chance i will pull the drager out of my shack and take some pics.

Woops, my bad. My friend has an '02 Invader and a BKS engine, and on one of Las Vegas' track he getsgoing to around 100MPH. It isn't a shifter either. Crazy. :eek:

Get a new engine and gear high .. or low. Whatever one makes you have more topspeed.
