I've got a Hitec 645MG in there right now, but I plan on going to a Hitec 5945MG when I can.

I've been running a Hitec 5645 digital servo on my maxx. Check it out Here at Servo City. (http://www.servocity.com/ServoCity/Products/Hitec_Servos/HS-5645MG_Digital/hs-5645mg_digital.html)

I used to run a Hitec 645 non-digital servo and loved that too and its cheaper Hitec 645 at Servo city (http://www.servocity.com/ServoCity/Products/Hitec_Servos/HS-645MG_Ultra_Torque/hs-645mg_ultra_torque.html)

I hope this helps.

John

thanks for all the suggestions. Are hitec servos the only ones that work with the traxxas radio? What do you all think of the HS-925 MG? I can get a new one on ebay for $25.

No ;any servo with a universalplugor Futuba plug will work. Right;now the Airtronic 94358or 94359 are the king of the hill ;so to speak. They are expensive tho but you get what you pay for in servos ;I've found.

I run a Futaba 9402, it is 100 bucks but well worth it in my opinion. I went from the 2055 to a Hitec 625 MG to this and wow, it stands out in the crowd.

I use the 9402 on throttle and have no compalints but for a few dollars more there is a big difference in the 94358. Also if you upgrage to c very high torque servo you need to upgrade the servo saver;the stock has too lighyt a spring. To get the most from the 94358:I would suggest a cam type such as the new Pro-line. I have the Umlimited cam type but you don't have to spend that much. It made a huge difference over the spring type .
