i just got a used dom off ebay. can't seem to get it started. i know it's not the engine itself because i put a couple drops of fuel in the carb and it started up.

apon inspection i found that the line was blocked w/ some old fuel. so i replaced all of the fuel tubing. but when i try to prime it, i still can't get any fuel to travel through the line at all. NONE! and it is driving me mad. it seem's that there is some fuel leaking from the tank nozel under the lid.

do you think i need to replace the tank? i'm gonna try to hook up my losi tank because i know that's sealed properly. also can anyone tell me exactly how the dominator fuel line get's hooked up since OFNA's direction are such a great help.

try to plug your exaust pipe with your finger and pull the engine pull starter, that should suck the fuel to the carb.

empty the tank of fuel and submerge it under water if there are any bubbles at all then the tank isn't sealed. plug the fuel line and blow through the pressure line into the tank while submerged. then you will see. hope this helps:)

Sounds like you have old fuel blocking the area around the fuel intake. Take the fuel line off the carb, get a new CLEAN piece put one end on the carb hold the carb throttle wide open and blow, if you can't get any air then it's pretty well clogged up. You may need to take the carb off and disassemble and reassemble it. Sounds like it was in storage a while.
