Connecticut racing scene?

I live in south western part of Ct. and tracks are nearly impossible to find! i havn't found a team or club yet and the closest track is about 1 1/2 hour away. If there is anyone one that lives in Ct. and knows of a club track or even a good hobby shop let me know.

Have you checked out R/C Madness in Enfield, CT? Depending on your type of racing they might have what you are looking for. They have a well stocked retail hobby store and great people willing to help out. Check out there website at

I don't know what type of racing you're into, but there's an outdoor offroad track in New Milford, CT called Xtreme R/C. I live in Danbury, and the track is only like 10 min. away up Route 7. They won't start racing until late spring, though. There's an on-site hobby shop and the owner is one of the nicest, most knowledgeable guys i've ever met.
