I normally wouldn't promote a race or a race track, but I think this one needs attention. Mike's Hobby Shop in Carrolton is hosting a "Toy Charity Race" this weekend. It is for a great cause and I think we really need to come out and support it. Not to mention, Mike's is a great place to race.
Here are some details:
Please Join us for our Third annual Toy Drive
December 14th, 2002
Race format is standard Saturday event. Entry fee is a $15.00 un-wrapped toy per class. Limited to the first 100 drivers to sign up by 3:30pm on the 14th. Races start at 4:00pm. 3 rounds plus mains. All toys will be donated to a local toy drive. No race awards, only the kids will be winners in this event! No early race entries.
Donations by non racers accepted.
