Can you put big wheels, such as t-maxx wheels, on a traxxas rustler stadium truck?

There are ways to do it...some STs you can even find adapters for. However be ready for more parts breakage. The parts on STs are designed to handle the stress that ST rims and tires put on them. Putting larger tires greatly increases the stresses on the drive train and the suspension. You'll also need to change your gearing and go down on the pinion size or up on the spur.

well big wheels could put stress on the engine like what instgagdet said

Pro-Line Masher 2000s are almost as big as Maxx-size tires, and will not adversely affect the truck's handling or durabilty. They will mount to any wheels that will bolt on to the Rustler, and should increase ground clearance a good bit.

I wanted to know this to, but I was wondering if anyone still makes an adaptor like JG did awhile back so you could put 1/8th scale buggy wheels and tires on a stadium truck? I used have a custom RC-10 converted to truck with Burns wheels and tires on it truck was blast to drive!

New era model makes a adapator kit to put 1/8 biggy wheels on a RC10GT, so it should work on other Associted's also.

They seem to be out of them, but you cna bookmark it I guess....

I have an old RC10T that has Blackfoot tires mounted on to it. I didn't have to use any type of special adapters or anything like that. The tires just fit on the rims. Other than lowering the top speed and run times, there aren't any other adverse effects to the vehicle.

my cousin put big wheels on his electric evader and he ruined his motor and his esc. when he went to the lhs they said it might look cool but will ruin parts.

Well, it won't necessarily ruin parts if you change the gear ratio to compensate for the larger, heavier tires.
