Has anybody fitted a rally car body on a OFNA Hyper 7 or a Kyosho Inferno MP7.5?

If so, can you tell me what you did?

I love rally cars but rally cars can't really handle off-roading like a buggy so I guess the best of both worlds would be to put road rally tires on a buggy, stiffen the suspension a bit, and put on a rally body.

any info would be appreciated.

thanks.

hey flix... try getting some tyres from the kyosho range of landmax cars... the wheels won't work cos they use a different hex hub size to 1/8 buggies but the tyres may fit on buggy rims... just do some research and check it out...

also, a rally body will fit on a buggy. I have a kyosho landmax (the earlier model based on the mp5 buggy) and also i recently got a GS Storm Pro buggy. The landmax body fits on the storm buggy, but there are two probs. First of all, the wheels will stick out a lot further than normal since the buggy suspension arms are much longer than rally car arms (better handling offroad) and also you will need to rig up some custom body mounts to hold the body.

I think a rally body on a buggy would look a bit silly since the wheels stick out too far... if you find a way around this, then good for you! All i can suggest is maybe make your own suspension arms that are shorter and then use shorter CVDs...

hope this helps :)

thanks for the info.

i wonder if the landmax 2 rally car suspension would work on the inferno 7.5 or vice versa. that may solve the wheels sticking too far out.

thanks.
