They'll make a buzzing sound, but they shouldn't physically glitch.

Hi! Nismo,
R u talking about loud noises inside ur Digital KO servos. I have been using KO servo's. In my opinoin, they r better than my Futaba digital, and multiplex servo. Ko 2143 never glitch on me.
If ur talking about the noise, that is normal. It is loud I can hear it zzzz, zzzzzzzz, zzzzzz.
:p

Are you running a RX pack or a 4 cell battery pack with energizers in it? Only 6 volt RX packs in my experience will power digitals. The alki's don't have the punch and they screw up in like 2 minutes. Saw a guy have to leave a race 2 minutes into the first qual because he was using digital and no RX pack.

I run the receiver pack from the impulse pro and Trinity 1100 nmah. U need a big memory pack on the digital servo because they are working all the time.

go to Hitec's website, I think I read something about a bug that caused their digital servos to glitch with some aftermarket receivers, they were offerling free reprogramming of the servo to fix the bug.
See if this applies to your servo.

naw naw...
I had the same problem, it's in your settings, bro.
When your servo isn't being given commands it natrualy goes back to it's original position.
If your trim is set so that the original position is past something like a linkage is physically allowing it to, and it's pushing to return to a position that the linkage or servo saver isn't allowing it to, it'll be pushing, indefinitly making that sound. try taking the arms off, resetting your trim, and then try and put the linkage arm, servo saver or whatever it is back on.
It'll make that sound if something is pushing/pulling on it when it's trying to return to it's zero position or whatever its called

I know what you mean, But for my case, I haven't connect anything to the servo yet.
Need some more info...
what servo do you have?
what other electronics are in the car?(radio,rx,esc, etc...)

they are 5925 and 5945, using 3PK w/HRS reciever powered by 1100 mh-hd Trinity Hump pack. I haven't connect it to the car yet, just tested it and it glitch.
Does it glitch if you only hook up one servo?
Are your ATV settings beyond 125% ?
What is the "Modified" date on the side of the servo?
You may also drop an email to: support@greatplanes.com
I have seen several people run these servos with this radio.

I'm having trouble with glitching as well. I have a JR XR3i remote with the new metal geared Z590M servo on steering and a Z550 servo on throttle. I also have a Dynamite Race Gaurd fail safe. Before I got the XR3i remote I had a JR XR2 remote and I had the Z550 servo on both throttle and steering with the Dynamite Race Gaurd and had no problems with glitching. Now, when I turn the remote off so that the fail safe puts the brakes on the Z590M servo starts glitching.

I would suggest phoning Hitec. If there is a problem with the servo They will probably replair for no charge. I sent in a servo adn an old receiver and they fixed both for free and I got another free crystal, pretty cool.
I have the hs5625mg and have had no prolems with it yet. Mabye you got a dud?

I have two Hitec 5925MG's in my buggy, and neither of them glitch, but both make that annoying trademark digital buzzing noise. It's a good thing you can't hear it once I fire up the engine. :)

Hi, I'm having trouble with this servo. I does not seem to work. I actualy have no Idea what needs to be done to make it work. I set up the throtle on my mars radio and that is set but I GET NO STEERING. There seems to be no current reaching it. Does this sound abnormal? Is the servo fried or my receiver? The throtle and break are set yet the servo does not turn or do anything. Also, the servo has a white connector which i do not know if it needs to be changed for my ko recever (297FZ). Please help I have no instructions for the Mars and I realyneed help. Thanks. Perhaps there are settings to be set before the servo can perform.

The KO servo will fit into the KO receiver.
Is the servo a 7.2v version? If so the fourth blue wire needs to be plugged in to the speedo, or soldered into the batt + wire to supply power.
