yeah, do you like breaking parts? like inexpensive parts. for example, i was driving my truck in the back yard yesterday, and i actually snapped my steel dogbone. i was stoked! ive never had a part break because of "too much power" or something. i thought it was more cool than dissapointing, especially since i have a spare. but i dont like breaking parts cause of a stupid driving mistake. i may just be rambling here but i know i read in a rcca a few years ago that one of the editor, who will remain unamed :D, likes broken parts. he even said so in one of the colums. but anyway, i was just wondering if there were any other twisted minds out there like me.

here is the dogbone:

Iam not too crazy about breaking parts and I dont think many other people are either. Breaking parts is a niussance because you might not be able to run your car until you get the part.

Its a PERFECT EXCUSE to replace other worn parts while your at it.

I only like breaking stuff if I have a spare. LOL I almost have a spare car in pieces. IT is so funny I will be driving with my friends and I will hit a curb really hard or something and they will cringe. I just smile.:D  ;) :D :D

Well there are two sides to breaking parts.

If you have replacement parts it's no big worry, especally if it's a cheap part.

And i is a excuse to buy tougher parts that will take longer to break

if you break something that you had wanted to upgrade anyway thats a plus :D

RC's are fun. I love playing them and racing them. If I happen to break a part, oh well, time to fix it and do it again. :D But there are limitations such as the truck breaking over and over again within a day or so. My Stampede has been ravaged and been breaking parts like crazy as of late and it's either the cold or just worn out parts. I'm thinking the cold right now.

yeah, i dont break my cars on purpose, im just saying that if you break a part, does it make you smile sometimes. i have two spare dogbones so it didnt make any difference to me. it was literally 1 minute swap and i was back up and running.

if i didnt have so much love for my car(and a lot of spare parts) i would see if i could set up a ramp for my onroad car and watch a nitro TC3 fly at 50mph that would be pretty cool, and maybe if somhow the thing caught on fire in midflight and the head blew straight off the motor. THAT would be pretty cool, but i love my car to much(and my wallet) to hurt my baby like that.

hehehe

When i had my second ta03, i broke plenty of parts on that car... mostly shock towers, rims, dogboes, universals, and the chassis... i actually got pissed and rammed a garage door... heck, the whole chassis was fractured:p

Err. That happens to me all the time. In fact, you can always hear my swearing on the drivers stand, then a sudden sigh of relief. :D

In some ways I do like breaking parts. I seem to have to try to break parts lately. I landed on my rear bumper and snapped my RPM bumper in half, and then 20 minutes later as I was lining up for a jump at WOT I slammed into my mailbox post, and took a chunk out of the post :D I also cracked my fuel tank, it slammed into the steering bellcrank :( And I also cracked my front skidplate.

i do hate it when you go and jump your truck and it has a nasty landing, one that makes you wince, it looks bad like the front wheel turns and it looks like its broken, but thanks to that servo saver you installed, nothing is hurt. i dont like those kind of crashes, when those happen, i close my eyes and hope its not broken. hehe

when i had my xxx-nt sport i was always hearing about people blowing up their diffs. after going hrough a gallon of fuel i was tired of waiting for the diff to go so i hooked up some sand paddles and just beat and beat on it in the sand. i was doing a doughnut and it caught the grass and pooff instant diff striper!! i was so happy :D

I either like no crash, or one with me going out and picking up salvage...such as a battery box and leaving the rest of the broken stuff out on the accident site.
