Hi,
The dual aileron servos are a much more precise way of driving the large ailerons on this model. The fiberglass and cloth is used for reinforcement of areas that need it. Fiberglass resin is not a type of glue, but a special plastic resin that is used to bind the fabric to the surface really well. The Pitts muffler is desireable because it will fit inside the cowl. Most likely, the nose is so wide that the stock muffler would not reach outside of it.

thank you ok im done building it but i have 2 problems the pushrod rudder is strong on the pulling direction but in the pushing i can hold it with little force and the rod will just bend.....how can i fiz this??? also the directions dont say how to mount the reciever and battery so i have them velcrowed onto balsa.....should i screw it in or CA it if so how? and why do u have to take the fuel tubing off the exoust when u fill ur tank?? do u really have to?

wrap the reciever in foam and batteries. or by a padded reciever box the zip tie them down the throw of the rudder sounds like it is hitting or rubbing something.
hope this helps

Hi,
That pushrod is probably bending because of large bends in the wire at one end or the other. It is common to see to large a bend where the pushrod comes out of the fuselage to drive the control. Watch when you push and see where it is bending. You may need to put a new end on the rod with less bend to corect this.
The fuel overflow tube that attaches to the muffler really should be pulled for filling if you only have two lines. If you leave it connected and the tank overflows during filling, the fuel will run into the muffler, and from there into the cylinder. This can make starting impossible until all of the excess fuel is drained from the engine.
