I could have gotten a Gary Wright's E3D for a $100, but why? I bought my KomaFun.15 in Singapore for $150+, equivalent to USD $70:) Cheap, Oh!!! Yeah:D

I will not be building this as of yet, because I have to finish other beta planes, and my scratch build JellyBean:)

Subject: KomaFun.15

Lenght: 42"
Wing Span: 39.7"
Weight: 23-24.6 oz.
Radio: 4ch.

I had this kit for a while now, but never opened the box, I'm finalizing my Jellybean airplane. Got bored and decided to open it. WOW to my surprise, the kit comes with a full, real big plans. I never seen a plan so big like this before, nor have built something this big. (Not counting my Herr Cub)

Hi,
Those are some of the most attractive helicopters that I have seen. Before you know it, the heli guys will be mounting wings and flying forward real fast. Where is all ths leading?
Cheers, Dave

***Where is all ths leading?***

Bigger and aerobatic planes:D I'm eyeing World Models, but won't dare to advance, not until I sharpen up my skills.

Hehehehehehehe..... I do have a heli. My first heli:D the Corona.

Dave,

I won't leave the airplane world, I like it fast, and big:D See Dave, you shouldn't of brought out your new friend:D now I can't stop thinking and imaging flying pattern airplanes, as well, as 3D airplanes:D

Yours,
Antonio

The construction of the KomaFun is a bit tricky, it's in metric specifications, lacked step by step details in building this fun, and a lot of balsa stick stripping to precisely fit to each corresponding parts.

Pic 1.

Prior to putting the fuselage together, I glued the inner 1/8 sq" to the fuselage and to each torso.

Next step. Putting the wing tips together, and getting it out of the way. Laid out the ribs, everything seems to be a breeze. Personally, I don't think there is going to be any bumps in it's overall construction, this is by far an easy short kit to build.

Partially I got the bottom torso compeleted, it's a brezze.

Bottom spar 1/8x3/16" stripped from 3x16x4x36 balsa. Side torso enforcements, 1/8x5/16" glue to the side of the torsos as well, as to the bottom spar.

Strengthening the inner front end of the plane. Just in case, H.O.B spoiled me, their airplanes are build to withstand hard impact.
