BurnTheLies

well, i got shock spacers, the reverse module and an rb 63 pipe. i put on the spacers and the pipe and i was ready for some wheelie action, just like a fellow board member experienced after the same additives to his setup. the truck gained a bit more torque and accelerated better, but no wheelies, it was almost there though... almost. confused i decided it must be the slipper clutch, so i tightened it about a quarter of a turn. still no wheelies. soon after i started noticing an odd sound, and right away the tires came to mind. i never glued the tires because they looked firmly glued when i first got the truck. right away, thinking that this would solve my wheelie problems, i glued the tires. after they dried, i tried my truck. i had the same sound and the same performance. i thought the noise might be coming from my slipper clutch, so i reset it to the factory placement.
now, i do not know what the noise is, nor why i'm not receiving the same performance as others. the sound is of somthing rubbing against another, and i was positive it was the tires against the plastic rim, it just sounds like it should be.
just sharing my thoughts.
