View Full Version : Savage blow out at ultimate
Well I'm not a Savage guy but thought I'd share that www.ultimatehobbies.com has the Savage RTR for $349 and the new 2.5 Tmaxx for $359. They don't have a secure server so call them in person if you are the nervous type. They are reputable, several threads around this forum, most people have had no problems with them. Best prices on the web.

hmmm My take on this:
They must want to sell them all by the time the AE MGT is released cause then the only thing selling will be the AE MGT. :)

Any of you guys have experience with their shipping prices? I ordered one but now rumour is going around and it states that the shipping to NY is like 40-60 buck!!!:eek:
I also bought the MP "combo" from ultimate last fall. Killer deal, shipping was $20, had it in 4 days (Wisconsin from CA.). To quake and shake: interesting theory, but ultimate routinely beats everybodys prices. I seem to recall that a lot of people got excited about the Thunder Quake too, turned out to be a big time dud. Associated makes good 1/10 stuff, I'm not impressed by the plastic shock/fake reservoirs nor by the fact that they can't seem to get the thing on the market despite leaking photos on their site 3 or 4 months ago. Time will tell I guess.

i just looked at web site for ultimate and it said 389$ what do you half to do call them to get that price?

tell me about it. I ordered mine monday. 24 hours would have saved me 40 bucks. But 389 is better than anywhere else. oh well its on its way. Shipping was 20 bucks from Cali to Chicago.

Did they call you for confirmation or did they just shipped it? I will call them just to make sure.

I got my savage from them for $350 and 3 day shipping was $28 so it was a pretty good deal!
