My Savage is exactly one week old, and already a major problem had occured. I was driving it today, I hit the brakes, the back wheels locked up and the front ones didn't. I was like 'Hmmm...odd...' I knew this wasn't right, it never did that before, so I shut the truck off to see what it was. Well the problem is in the dog bone going from the gear box to the front wheels. The pin in the head of the dog-bone that goes into the socket to drive the front wheels fell out.
I thought those pins were welded into the dogbones. I guess they can fall out after all. Nothing is broken, wich makes me happy seeing as how the truck is only a week old. Is there any replacements out there yet, or like universals yet, or any thing. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
John
P.s.
This truck kicks a$$ with RWD :D
I know thats not the way it's suppossed to run, so please help me find replacement parts.

I would be on the horn with HPI just as soon as the open tomorrow, only a week old maybe they will help you out.
Just my 2 cents

I wrote them an e-mail about it, maybe they'll be nice and ship me replacement parts.

Well, I wrote them an e-mail, and they got back to me already "We've heard of that happeneing before, please call our customer support and they should take care of you". You all know what that means. SO, I'll have to swing by the ol' hobby shop and pick up some new parts, not that I'm complainin':p
Thanks for the help,
John
