Buggy-size tires will technically fit, but it will look goffy as heck (I've seen it before). I did see a Clod Buster with 2.2" truck wheels and tires and it looked cool, so you could try that if you wanted. Just lower the body enough to make it look good.

hey, thats me! thanx alot guys but i just got a clodzilla and i got interested in juggs because alot of people had them and put up pics and i liked the scale realism with it still being a real MT unlike the mountaneer and bruiser which both have AWESOME scale realism, but they sacrifice alot of offroad capabilities and rugged looks. i wanted one alot but they were really hard to get so i found a used clodzilla four and am liking that verymuch. i havent been by the boards much because ive been on other boards.

You need 2.2" truck wheels that use a 12mm hex, like from the HPI or Traxxas trucks.

hi,
I had a clod and sold it (i know what an ass)
now i got the monster truck bug again and want either a Jugg 2 or a TXT 1. I want to see the if the jugg 2 is worth it. i will probly keep it stock except for ball bearings or couse and my tekin titian.other than that maybe mod motors later on. just wanted to know if this is an all around tough truck stock and can i get alot of use out of it.
thanks in advance

I own a Baha King and Wild Dagger and am considering a Juggernaut 2 as my next vehicle. It certainly looks amazing judging by the excellet photographs above.
Can some of you lucky owners give me some feedback on the truck please. Do you recommend it given my existing (humble) collection? What (if any) issues have you had with it?
Look forward to hearing from you.
TORQUER

The Juggernaut2 is a very nice model out of the box. But, that is exactly what it is…a model. It is very highly detailed and makes for some fun “slow cruising” if you intend on preserving it in any way! If you really want to go out and tear up the terrain, then I would suggest at least replacing the hard body with a lexan unit. If you really want to make the Jugg performance oriented, then chassis modifications are available from a few manufactures or you could make them yourself.
You stated, “Do you recommend it given my existing (humble) collection?”. I say yes! It is a very nice RC to add to anyone’s collection. It would be especially nice if you can get one in kit form so that you can get the enjoyment of building it box stock!
Here is a link to my album (http://imageevent.com/torquer) if you would like to see some more pictures of the Jugg…
Also, here is a link to some vids (poor quality) of the Jugg in action…lol!

Its mainly stock right now except for stuff like a super rooster, trinity motors, and a full ball bearing set. It wont stay stock for too long however, I plan on making some upgrades such as a cantilever susp. , aluminum chassis, wheel wideners. If you know of any upgrades that have worked well for you let me know.

I got a Jugg 1 at launch but stopped driving it when I found out it was defective. Now I want to convert it into a crawler. I want to get rid of the leaf spring suspension but I can't seem to find any after market suspension hops for it. I want tons of articulation for crawling. I don't know if I can lock the diffs since they are the original defective diffs.
Can someone point me to any after market suspension hops? Thanks.

AHHH!!! how nice, a lovely Jugg thread. I've never seen this thread till just now. Nice rides. Jock i gotta ask you, on your Jugg, you're running those 2 BL systems and i see you're running the stock diveshafts vs maxx shafts or any other type of shaft like a rc4wd supershafts. My question is, how are they holding up? can they really actually handle the power from those to BL systems with a problem? I mean people always say to switch over to some type of Traxxas shaft when refering to the Jugg and TXT, but you on the other hand are amazingly running to BL systems and the stock shafts. I honestly would hate using any type of other shaft out there that isn't steal or aluminum, it's just simply ugly and to me not worth the money.

the shafts hold up fine there is no issue with it....It wheelies on demand with no issues I can half throttle up on start with a wheelie then slowlie let go the gas and wheelie again...essentially I can wheelie anytime. No issues one bit super power and everythign the down fall is you need a very wide stance to make the truck no tip over on turns....I locked the rear steering also so that helped a bit, but not really. Overall it was a fun project to run, but the juggy is not meant for speed maybe with a wider stance yah it can handle it, but I havent bought any wider stance so no biggie...off to my dually clod my package came in..from pual :D

You need different drives, when you put a different 4 link under it,and do away with the leafs,
with more travel , you need the shafts to gain or shorten in length with the suspension travel you gain.

Thanks for the responses. I've thought about buying a TXT1 but then thought I had a Jugg 1 that should be able to be a good crawler with some work. I figured it could be improved much the same way a Clod Buster can be. But if the replacements for the defective parts are no longer available I don't know if I can even lock the diffs and do the other things I need to do. Anyone know if the fix is jugg 2 axles?
Sounds like the suspension kit would need to include new drive shafts.
What kits would people recommend for about a grand in total parts? Not sure if the TXT1 is a good base at that price range or maybe a higher end rock crawler chassis.
I'm not up for a custom rig so I need a kit. Thanks.

Just picked up a Jugg2 in a trade, had no real intentions of getting one, but dang it if this thing doesn't grow on you!
Plans right now are to make it a crawler, 4-link, one motor, mount servos on the axles, throw on some tires and call it a day. Anyone looking for leaf springs, and other assorted Jugg plastic parts?
