I have the ofna ultra mbx and i was wondering if there is another chassis form one of their other buggies that is a direct fit. I want a chassis with kick up thats why im posting this. A direct fit would be the best. The mbx pro looks almost the same but ithas kick up. Would that work.

Thanks for your time
Pat

There are three chassis to consider: The MBX Pro/Ultra GT Pro, Worlds, and the Worlds 2. The Worlds chassis is being used on one of the Ultra GT chassis and the Worlds 2 is being used on the Ultra MBX R2+ (as opposed to the R2 or plain MBX). The new 9.5 is a completely new design and your diff housings and stuff won't bolt to it properly.

The new MBX Pro/Ultra GT Pro chassis looks like the Worlds Chassis with different chassis braces and a hard annodised finish but I'm not sure about the details.

The Worlds should be a drop-in fit. The chassis should be a direct change out from one to the other. The only things you may have problems with are the front upper support (tops of the steering gear to the rear of the front diff housing) and the front drive dogbone. The front upper support that works has two holes on each side of the rear where they attach to the top of the steering gear. Some older OFNA buggies have one hole per side and these won't work. The front drive dogbone may not be the right length to fit, but I'm not 100% sure about this.

The Worlds 2 chassis will also work but you will need to replace a whole lot more than just the chassis. The Worlds 2 uses a different radio box, servo tray, bulkhead braces, rear body mount, and different wings. To do this conversion right you will also need a new body (the rear body mount is in a different place and requires a new body be used).

OFNA now has the manuals available for download on their webpage for the Worlds 2 so you can see the differences there. The Worlds and Ultra GT Pro, unfortunately, are not available.
