when i was in this perdicament i desided going with the TXT.

And how can you afford a savage 21 and a TXT-1 to if your only 12. Im 17 and sometimes have problems affording this stuff.

Hope this helps. Top speed of the stock TXT-1 is 8-10 mph, top speed of the Emaxx is around 30 mph. TXT 1 is a cool design but it is made for crawling over rocks etc, it can go faster with upgraded motors, ESC, etc... The new EMAXX has the Tmaxx's wider suspension (much harder to tip), is a great jumper, can be easily upgraded to 14 cells for even more power, also has a on-the-fly 2 speed tranny. If you want cool monster truck realism get the TXT-1, if you want massive torque, speed, jumping, and a lot more excitement get the Emaxx. If you get the Emaxx make sure it has the new upgraded suspension.

I agree with robc. It really depends on what you want, they are two different types of trucks. The TXT-1 is great for some general bashing around and rock crawling. The E-maxx is much better for jumping and going fast. Personally I have a TXT-1 for rock crawling and a Savage for all out jumping and speed.

I decide you get the EMAXX :). I think you'll like it.

u should look at the pedes. They are great jumpers and virtually indistructable. go ask around about the pede and i gaurentee u will get endless replies on how good they are.

i dont know how fast but i think it is almost 18mph.
yes itclimbs well and many people have made a 4wd conversion for the elec. they normally take a second trasmission motor and put it on the front. to see some great stampedes got to ultimatetraxxes.com

If you want to just play, get the E-Maxx.

If you want to play, work on, modify, and get cool points for owning one, get a TXT-1.

I have both. Two E-Maxx and Three TXT-1s

If you have any truck specific question, please ask, I will answer what I can. :)

Hairball .. Have you ever raced with a TXT-1? Jus' wondering how good it would do. JANG from UltimateTraxxas set up his Mad Force for racing and it looks pretty decent.

Nope, I'm still in Japan (stuck here for awhile).

The Japanese here don't know what offroad racing is. Nitro onroad is ALL they do.... :(

I wish. These people are OBSESSED with onroad racing, wether it be R/C or full size.

The Mad Force is the only offorad vehicle I've seen for sale here (well, besides the 1/5th scalle offroad buggy (not the traxxas POS) they wanted $1500 for.. :D :D That thing was AWESOME).
