How? I have broke mine several times from hitting stuff

Inquiring minds want to know how you broke it?

I hit solid objects many times and have only bent stuff.

So does it pull the front end off the ground and flip over backwards because if it were not for my rear bumper mine does.

I was blown away with the power of this new engine but a did not blow a nut over it :D

Heck I am almost 40 years old and it excited me LOL :p

yes i did mean i broke it in, woo wee fast as hell. but not tuned perfect cuz i am a new comer to nitro. after 4 days and a half a gallon (most of which i spent with tuning practice) but i have very little brakes. went to lhs they said tighten the mounting screws, so i did to no evail. i broke my fuel tank and some fuel dripped out, if it got on brake will this create weak brakes? i bought another brake disk but before i rip this apart i thought i would ask here maybe i am missing something? when i tighten those screws it wouldn't even move so i backed off a hair and ran and still hardly any brakes? help please!! thanks BOB

If fuel got on the brake disk it would cause slipping from the oil.

Did you clean it with some nitro cleaner afterwards?

There is an adjustment on the arm that controls the brake that you could slide. You can test with the engine off and play with it until you find the sweet spot.

I thought I removed my first post thought you tore it up ooooooops my mistake LOL and looks like you did afterwards.

I have broke more stuff running a truck without the body on then I have with it on.

This truck is fairly heavy but I have mine tuned that it stop pretty quickly and nose dive. Traxxas released this new TRX 2.5 before they had all the bugs worked out with the RTR assembly line from my experience with it. But it is one hell of a truck. Maybe you got a Friday afternoon truck. You need to still tune and play with settings.

A few of my thoughts and I hope this helps :D

thanks, i will keep on tinkering. i put the new brake disk on but it 330 in the morning and cant tell if i got it right. i push it and the breaks seem to work, but i'm not going fast at all. i hoped this works. i am gonna try it first thing in the morning. the only other problem i have is, after it gets up to temp it will shut off when i stop or let off throttle. i think its the tuning but not sure, i replaced the glow plug already. i think my first hop-up is gonna be an air filter and tuned pipe , will these two items increase performance? and any suggestion on which to get? thanks

p.s. it was definately not viagra.
