The championship event of the three round STORM "Triple Crown of Short Track Oval" will take place March 2nd at Venture Raceway in Libertyville Illinois.

Doors open at 10:00 AM
First Race at NOON
"Current" Classes include:
4 cell Stock
4 cell 19T ARCOR
4 cell Cup 150 lap main w/pitstops
TC Oval

Other then the points series Venture runs will there be any big electric touring car events held there?

I just started running the Sunday Novice series and wanted to know about any big races planned.



TC Oval?? what does that mean? how long is race?

Not sure what Venture has planned you may want to call them847/549-6963.

The Triple Crown event is sanctioned by STORM (Short Track Oval Racing members) who come to a track and run a big event for a single day.

The TC Oval is simply touring cars running 4 minute oval. The TC Class will get three heats and a main. Great class that is really exciting.

I hope you come out and run. This is a organized race under a fun forum.

That TC oval sounds like a blast. You should post this in the chicago track thread and send the info over to brian at www.chicagorc.com. He can email all the members about it.
