It's a Kyosho Big Brute.

Yeah, the Brute had similar tall red shock towers and shocks.

thats cool!! i used to have a Big Boss... i think that was the name? it was alot like that one!

The Big Boss was sort of an evolution of the Big Brute. First there was the Brute, then the High Rider Vette and Double Dare (Not sure which was first) used the same design with some new parts (The DD just had a rear tranny put on the front of the truck. The Big Boss came out a few years later and was basically a Vette with a new body and shocks.

I believe the timeline was:
Big Brute 1987
Big Boss 1989 (Ford Body with engine showing)
Hi-Rider Vette (Vette body obviously)
Double Dare (4ws with Nissan body)
My brother and I had the Brute and Boss complete with light sets. :)
YEp its a brute. i used to have one. i had a few hopups on it and got rid of that red ;-). but i sold it on e-bay about a year ago.
