Well that is the nail in the coffin for me. I was gonna wait for the BFT before getting a new moster truck but after seeing this I won't bother. It just reminds me of a maxx with bigger tires.

I read an article about the BFT which stated that the BFT was developed partially with Thunder Tiger. Makes sense that Thunder Tiger would market a version with their own name on it. That same article stated that they designed it to take the power of a .50 engine, if someone were crazy enough to try dropping one into it.

Why do you consider it crazy to have a .50 engine in it? The EK-4 has a .70. I think all manufacturers should follow suit and choose larger displacement engines rather than sticking to the status quo .21s. I'm sick of 12-15 lbs. "aluminum-clad" trucks with a puny .21 straining to get things going. More power too'em...

i actually heard that its being built to be able to withstand a .60 in that bad boy!

And Thunder Tiger and Associated working together is a good thing!

Thunder Tiger has like 30% say-so over the trucks design and things of that nature.I bet this trucks gonna be the best one when its available.

Team Associated is one of my fav companies.Ask any HS about them..simply the best company around....traxxas is 2nd in my book..

this truck is gonna be sick!!!

ITS GONNA BE RELEASED SOMETIME IN MARCH!

AE has used TTR engines every since they have been making RTR's.
