I have just started building the Precedent kit of the torpedo boat Perkasa and need help with a few things...

1. How do you smoothly bend copper tubing?

2. Does anyone have any tips on how to get the prop shaft alignment right?

3. Are automotive aersol paints good to use on fibreglass hulls, any tips?

4. Are there any online building reviews of the Perkasa kit?

TIA

Jeremy.

heat the brass tubing untill it is red-hot, then bend it with a pair of pliers, it will bend very easily and with no kinks.
car paint is fine, and i dont think you'll hafta worry about nitro-proof paint with that boat....well there are two i can answer, 1 cent each! :)

Another good method of bending tubing is to fill it with fine sand or other course powder.
You can also use a tight fitting spring around the outside of the tube. This will keep it from kinking as well.
Heating it up first as laxmasta2039 sugested, will help it bend easier.
