OLD T-MAXX tranny problem! can u pros help!

hello,
my buddy has the older t-maxx and he has been having troubles with his tranny!

at first it wouldnt go into 2nd gear,,so he took the whole trans apart and made sure evrthing was fine!

and now after he did that it will only stay in second gear! lol

And the PRIMARY gear shaft on the outside the tranny is really hard to spin! what do you think he possible did wrong and what would cause that!!

its obvious that something is binding up. take another stab at it. if your still having trouble, take it to your LHS.
