most high end servos are pretty water resistant as they're bearing sealed, but its always wise to balloon them, or wrap them in a condom if baloons are too thick (hey, it works)

Or a little simpler but messier solution would be to apply a little grease in the cracks of the case. Water doesn't mix with oil.

Silicon weather sealant is the best to use. Use the clear (small drop) around the wire and case to ensure a moisture resistant seal. If water or moisture does get in side take it apart immediately; wipe down the circuit or wiring board with rubbing alcohol (lint free cloth) then reassemble after it completely dries.

I use this stuff called "liquid electrical tape". it is a sealant that you brush on, and it peels right off. When you seal the servo, make sure to open up the cracks and get the sealant inside them, to have a better seal.

You can get it at home depot

I just use crappy $10 sport servos in the snow they usually last a while, and if they don't who cares.....
