What is the difference between these two heli's? I have done every R/C out there except helicopters and want to try one out. I have been told by a number of people (including an article in RC Microflight, I think) that the Piccolo can be a decent trainer if you get someone knowledgable to help set up your heli the first time. I have seen pictures of the Smartech and it looks very similar to the Piccolo, but at a reduced cost ($100 less on average). What are the differences between the two and which is the better buy? Also, how well do these perform outside? Does it have to be totally calm out to fly or will these handle the wind OK (I am talking about a regular breeze, not gail force here)? I have very limited areas to fly, that is why I want to try the Piccolo sized heli out. I had thought of a park flyer, but most of the areas I have to fly are about the size of a tennis court, not a baseball field. To fly at that large of an area, I have to drive almost 15 miles...

Hi,
The Skylark looks very much like the piccolo, but parts seem not to be exchangeable.
We sell the Feda, which is comparable to the Skylark (and Piccolo) and very popular at the moment!
Heli flying is difficult, but you can learn. The smaller the heli is, the less stable it is. So most people start with bigger (and more expensive) helis
I always suggest to my customers to order some extra mainrotor blades and tailrotors. They are virtually indestructable, but you never know.
Good luck!
Ps, click on my www button if you need more information regarding the Feda.

But how to order these parts. The partlist page only show pictures of available parts, without prices and no option to add these items to a shopping card.
